I've never met Sundi Jo, but her writing style makes it seem like we're old friends sharing a confidence. Honest, authentic and showing little fear in sharing her tale, she manages to take the often cold, formulaic religious message of the righteous and instead spin a heart-warming tale of painful negativity transformed into hope, optimism and joy. Often this message comes with the How, but leaves out the Why, Sundi however opts to include her deeply personal journey and what changes occured in her mindset to allow this change to happen. While these revalations may seem obvious and a lot like the stuff you parents may (or may not) have said to you as a kid, the truth contained within is undeniable.A fantastic book that really challenges what it is about us that makes us carry the negativity around in our lives.

Shares her heart about God saving her as a confused, unloved, unloving woman, and how the truths of who she is in Christ changed her life. Very practical and inspirational for any who are trying to find their identity in anything besides Christ!
There was some truth in here...but something was amiss...it's hard to explain. Good idea for a book, good premise, pretty good start...but as you learn more about the author...uh, I just want to be more careful of who I read and what I let into my mind. But it was free...so...but I didn't finish it.
30,000 Word thoughts a day WOW is all I can say. I felt like Sundi Jo lived part of my life. After reading this book, I am more determined than ever to erase those old negative thoughts about myself that came from sick human fraility and adopt the words that describe me through God's eyes. A quick read that contains SO much. I know I will be re-reading it AND writing down all the verses that describe who I am in Christ! Thank you Sundi Jo for sharing at such a deep level.
